Description

Inspired by the traditional Mahl Stick used by painters for centuries, the Sliding Mahl Stick has been redesigned to integrate directly with the easel, offering a more comfortable, stable, and precise working experience.

This system allows you to safely rest your hand while working on fine details, without the risk of touching wet paint. Thanks to its sliding mechanism, it is always ready to use, allowing you to fully concentrate on the painting process.

Developed from the professional experience of hyperrealist painter Omar Ortiz, it is a tool designed to optimize precision, control, and ergonomics in the studio.

How to use

The system is securely mounted to the top of the easel using a simple clamping mechanism.

Once mounted, the easel glides smoothly along the upper rail thanks to its integrated wheels, allowing for easy positioning depending on the area of the canvas you are working on.

The lower support maintains the system's stability and alignment, while the distance between the easel and the canvas surface prevents any accidental contact with the paint.

In addition, its integrated square allows it to be used as a sliding T-square, facilitating the drawing of straight horizontal and vertical lines when needed.
